I went down to the new Port Melbourne Men’s Shed this afternoon. Located on Williamstown Road and Salmon St (within the National Storage complex)
when you look inside you might find a number of men restoring furniture, fixing bicycles for a local school, or doing their own Projects Such as making a cubby, or fixing their lawn mower.
Men might be having a coffee, or learning new skills from other men. if you like hanging out a Bunnings and you lack space in your back yard for a well stocked shed, then this could be ideal for you. Contact Peter Simmons on 0412 996 886, firstname.lastname@example.org or http://www.ppmsa.org.au
[MARS] Gallery is proud to present over 30 illustrations from Graeme Base’s newest book, The Jewel Fish of Karnak

“I made a trip to Egypt and it was incredibly inspirational. The choice of characters for the Jewel Fish of Karnak came from the history of Egypt itself and the Ancient Egyptians’ fabulous mythology. The more you learn about Egypt the
more fascinating it is!” – Graeme Base
Complete with hieroglyphics, sparkling jewels and an ingenious mechanical device built into the back of the book, this is a cautionary tale set amongst the wonders of an ancient world, from the bestselling and highly acclaimed author of such classics as Animalia, The Eleventh Hour and The Legend of the Golden Snail.
