Unique collaboration by 4 terrific schools in City of Port Phillip to put on a Dad’s festival footy day. It gets bigger and better every year. What a vibrant community we live in.
It’s all about families, and having fun with a great big community feel. We’ll also be fund raising for our schools, so come along and buy a hamburger or sausage in bread.
All 4 schools have got together to plan the day and agree on how the funds raised will be split. So there are no favourites with the schools.
We are expecting 2000 people to attend the day.
Footy will be played over 2 ovals commencing from 2 – 5pm followed by presentations – which are not to be missed.
The big question … will Port Melbourne Primary School take out the Cup for a second year running or will it find a new home at Albert Park Primary, Middle Park or St Kilda Park Primary School. It’s going to be a close call and I know training has been on in earnest. —— These Dad’s mean business! ——
We would love to see you there, please circulate to your friends and family.
For more information about set up for the day – call Simone Cresp on 0419 559 410 or Deb Cafferkey 0408 166 991

This highly respected and energetic association awarded 1st prize to Bay Street for the ‘best practice, innovation, leadership, creativity, success and passion’ in main street marketing and advertising around the ‘Christmas in Port’ Christmas windows and evening shopping event
George Tsingos, Roz Zweifel, Paul Littmann
This award has been running for the last 15 years and really acknowledges the terrific work the Port Melbourne Business Association does for our community.
Held for the first time in 2009, the ‘Mainstreet Australia’ awards recognise people, programs and organisations that make our main streets succeed and prosper.
The president, Paul Littmann says it takes “hard work, dedication and initiative, to enable “our” main street to thrive and respond to the constant challenges of small business trading”.
The committee is made up of a selection of retailers and is always looking for more energetic people to participate or suggest ways in which to make this years event a real success.
New to the ‘Christmas in Port’ program of events is the welcomed financial support of Yarra Trams through their Community Partnership Program. Their support in promoting the ‘Christmas in Port’ events in 2014 will enable the ‘Christmas in Port’ program to be on the tram network – and beyond.
