Elections Local Government – coming up in October 2016 Reply

With all the talk of elections recently, I have been thinking of my own re-election campaign.

I will be re-nominating and contesting the local government elections for Port Phillip City Council.

I really need some help, if you are interested in volunteering your time or skills, then I would love to hear from you.

Design a stamp and the winner will have their design made into a limited edition set of stamps 3

Put your stamp on history and design a limited edition stamp for the Emerald Hill Library & Heritage Centre.

The image should relate to the activities that take place at the Library & Heritage Centre, or to our location on Emerald Hill, South Melbourne. Include the caption/title, “Emerald Hill Library & Heritage Centre”, somewhere within your design. You can search the Port Phillip City Collection online database for an image too

The design can be hand drawn, a photograph, a painting or computer generated, whatever your favourite medium is.

All designs will be included in an online exhibition of competition entries. Age categories are: under 12 and 12+ up.

Entries Close on Friday 22 November, 2013

The winner in each category will have their stamp made into a limited edition set of stamps through the Australia Post website.

How to enter

Playground Opens at Eastern Road, South Melbourne Reply

Rope mountain was the particular favourite today.

Hardly any space today as crowds of children came and played at the newly opened and renewed play ground. It was so much fun…
Such a large space and so many things to do, including BBQ’s – come and see for yourself.  Worth a special trip with the kids.

It’s opposite “The Block” on Park Street, South Melbourne.
